The floats are sponsored by local businesses, charities, groups and clubs who spend many hours making the floats which include one carrying the Carnival Queen. There are marching bands and people on foot in fancy dress collecting donations from the crowds lining the route. The panel shows Town Crier Peter Bruce, leading the procession.
