High Street This impressive late Victorian building houses a bank. It stands next to the archway entrance to The Three Swans' yard. This shows a typical example of the long narrow toft (a plot of land at the back of a building bounded by a back lane) which was a feature of houses in the High Street. Through this yard passed the ancient footpath from Great Bowden to Lubenham.
