Agreement - Easter - 13th year of the reign of Henry VII
William Toccotes says/said that a certain Marmaduke Thwenge and Isabella his wife
were/have been the holders of the manor of Comburgh, and land in fact handed over
the/that same manor with all things pertaining, the which John Thwenge, brother of the
aforesaid Marmaduke, held himself and for the heir of his body legitimately born; the
worth of which gift the same John Thewenge held, after his death the same manor descended to the which Agnes as the blood heir of the said John Thewnge, or daughter
of William, son of Marmaduke, the son of John, the son of Edmund, the son of the said
John Thwenge, that is brother, etc, after the death of the said Agnes the same manor
descended to the aforesaid Margaret, wife of himself~ William Toccotes and the aforesaid Matthew Wytham and the aforesaid Richard Westropp, father, etc. to the blood
heir of the said Agnes, clearly, to herself Margaret as only daughter of John Wawton,
son of John, son of Gilbert, son of Alice, one daughter of John father of Marmaduke,
father of William, father of aforesaid Agnes and to the same Matthew as son of Ivette,
one of the daughters of the aforesaid John Wawton, son of John, son of Gilbert, son of
the aforesaid Alice one daughter of John, father of Marmaduke, father of William, father
of the aforesaid Agnes : and the aforesaid Richard Westhrop as son of William son of
Joanna one of the daughters of the aforesaid John, father of Marmaduke, father of
William, father of the aforesaid Agnes : through the which William Tocottes and Margaret by the
[?judgement] of which Margaret, as by whom Matthew Witham and Richard Westhorp in the aforesaid manor were in and were from then holders. The
which holders of the house of Comburgh aforesaid between himself William Toccats and
Margaret, Matthew and Richard Westhrop, a share of the aforesaid one hundred acres
[?ox] made was, etc.
