In the 1950's my father did some work for Joseph Lucas and he was told that the BRM was being tested at  Snitterfield Airfield and following a trip to Stratford on Avon, I was taken to see and hear the BRM in action 

My interest in fast, noisy cars and motorcycles all started here.
